VIDEO - WHAT IS TRAVEL FINS
Travel fins for snorkelers more-than likely had their beginnings in the swim fitness arena. Fitness fins have a blade length that really doesn't lend itself to be used in open water snorkeling situations. Traditional snorkeling fins can sometimes be just too bulky and long to be taken on vacation. The Travel fins took the best of both fins and created a snorkeling fin that still gives the power needed but doesn't require an extra suitcase when traveling abroad.

WHAT IS TRAVEL FINS - VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
Customer: I found two fins. These I'm used to.
Roy: Okay.
Customer: And these I've never seen and they are just adorable but they look like little kids though.
Roy: Actually they aren't kids. They are adult travel fins. What's nice about these -- now you are used to these, okay. Customer: Correct.
Roy: Now you've used these in the pool. You've also used them snorkeling already.
Customer: Correct.
Roy: Now you've done it mostly locally when you've been snorkeling out here, right?
Customer: Yes.
Roy: Now this packs nice and comfortably in a car.
Customer: Right.
Roy: Well now, what they've come up with is what are called travel fins.
Customer: Oh.
Roy: This one is actually made is made by Aqua Lung / U.S. Divers.
Customer: Okay.
Roy: And it is -- it's nice and small but people are like, does it give me the power?
Customer: Does it work, yeah.
Roy: It actually does. It actually does. The nice feature on it, this is a bare foot fin.
Customer: Okay.
Roy: Now, the snorkeling strap fins that you usually have are usually made for scuba divers and they're made to be worn with a scuba boot.
Customer: Okay.
Roy: You've seen those before.
Customer: I've seen them.
Roy: The problem with that is if you wore them barefoot, you're going to have pressure pushing from the top part here as well as the strap and it's going to have little blisters forming. And that's not a happy thing to have. Now what they did is they actually made this a little bit softer grade of rubber.
Customer: Right.
Roy: And the strap is a little bit softer so you're not going to have the rubbing in the wrong spots. It's going to be more comfortable on your foot.
Customer: Okay.
Roy: The nice thing about this, now where are you heading next? You're headed to Galapagos, aren't you?
Customer: Oh yeah.
Roy: See those iguanas out there?
Customer: Yeah.
Roy: What's really nice about the travel fins, that they pack well. Customer: Yeah, it's a cute little size.
Roy: Remember you were complaining that these were so long and trying to get them in your suitcase, especially in some of the places where you go snorkeling, where they only allow you like --
Customer: So much room.
Roy: -- so much room.
Customer: And the last time I told you about my luggage. And it would have been so nice to have these, like, where I could just (inaudible) on the beach, so --
Roy: Yeah. The travel fins fit great in a carry-on. You have your mask in the carry-on. You have your snorkel in the carry-on. Now you can have your travel fins in the carry-on, so if your luggage is late, rather than getting mad, go to the beach.
Customer: There you go.
Roy: Get some snorkeling in.
Customer: I think I would like to add this to my list.
Roy: Okay, we'll check the right size for you.
Customer: Okay.
Roy: And then we'll get the right color for you too.
Customer: Oh, thank you.
Roy: Okay.
