VIDEO - STAFF REVIEWS CRESSI PALAU SAF FINS & CRESSI LAF PALAU FINS
The best way to know a product is to actually use that product, which is why our staff took upon themselves to go to a local quarry and use the gear that we sell. If that wasn't enough, they also videotaped themselves actually using the gear after which they critiqued each piece. The video above is the "no holds barred" critique of the Cressi Palau LAF Fins and the Cressi Palau SAF Fins. This video is worth the watch.

STAFF REVIEWS CRESSI PALAU SAF FINS & CRESSI PALAU LAF SNORKEL FINS - VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:

Cathy: And here comes Roy from his snorkeling trip. Hi Roy! How was your snorkel adventure?
Roy: There's some big fish down there!
Cathy: Yes, there is.
Roy: There's really some big fish down there. Actually it was pretty good. I got to try out the new Cressi fins, the Palau SAF Fins. They're also called the SAF fins, which is a short adjustable fin but I like to call them a 'short-ass fin.' And I think, I give them a good rating. When I was out kicking with the Cressi Palau SAF Fins, the nice thing about it was it's a little bit on the down stroke you're getting good power off the down stroke. The up stroke is nice and weak because those muscles that you use on the up stroke you don't use very often. And because of the shortness of the Cressi Palau SAF Fins, the fins stay under the water a lot longer, which I like about it. Now you tried the 'long-ass fins' didn't you? (Cressi Palau LAF Fins)
Cathy: Yes, I did. Cresssi's 'long-ass fins', Palau LAF Fins. You're right, put them next to each other so we can have our customers see the difference in length. The one that Roy's holding is the SAF, Cressi SAF, Cressi Palau SAF fin, and the one that I've got on my foot is the Cressi Palau LAF, 'long-ass fins.'
Roy: What did you think of these?
Cathy: What did I think about these? I was -- actually I was very, very, very impressed. You can't beat the price point. The foot pocket is extremely soft. I just -- these could be my fins forever, very impressed. Now if I had to find something that I didn't like about it, it would probably be the buckle. Let's see if I can get a picture of that.
Roy: Look at mine.
Cathy: Oh yeah, thank you Roy. The buckle I felt is a little cheesy and it could possibly break easy. The good thing is they are replaceable and they're easy to take off. Do you have it?
Roy: Yeah.
Cathy: It's just a little knob that it goes on, but very, very nice fins. Good job, Cressi. Thank you for thinking of us snorkelers.
Roy: Yes, especially our feet.
Cathy: Yes, our feet. And these are to be worn without boots.
Roy: Barefoot!
Cathy: Yes, wear the Cressi Palua Fins barefoot or you can even throw on a neoprene sock without a sole or a lycra sock.
Roy: If you're desperate, sweatsocks but then it gives you a bad tan.
Cathy: Yeah. Bad tan line. All right, well thank you very much Roy.
Roy: Let's try some more gear.
