HOW TO REPLACE THE U.S. DIVER FIN STRAP - VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
This is another snorkeling snippet from SnorkelingOnline.com. Should you have to remove or replace your snorkeling fin strap out in the field, it is a very simple procedure to do. What you want to start with is to lift the snorkeling fin strap so it is perpendicular to the fin, go to one of the buckles, push down on the buckle until you hear it click. Pull the strap up and away. To replace the snorkeling fin strap, you will notice on the reverse side of the buckle there is a large opening going to a smaller opening. Place the large opening on the post of the fin and pull the mechanism towards you until you hear it click.
To adjust the snorkeling fin strap tighter or looser, simply go to one of the buckles, place your finger in the buckle lever, pull back slightly. Place your finger in the loop and pull to tighten the fin or grasp the fin by the heel and pull on the strap to loosen. This has been another snorkeling snippet from SnorkelingOnline.com.
