There are many different defog (also known as anti fog) solutions in today's market place. There are defogging solutions for windows, mirrors, windshields, eyeglasses and even swim goggles. It is in your best interest to use a defogging solution that is made for specifically for scuba and snorkeling masks. Using anti fog solutions that are designed to be used for other surfaces can cause many problems as most of them are to be used in well ventilated areas.
