If your snorkeling adventure had its beginnings from shore, then it is obvious that your exit will be toward shore. When approaching shore look for a sandy area that is about waist deep which has adequate room for you to stand with you fins still on. Once you are there, stand upright and remove your fins. More than likely you will be able to see into the water drom the standing position to note corals, rocks and other impediments. Move slowly and carefully the rest of the way to shore.
