Snorkeling Vests

It is only logical that a snorkel vest be considered an integral part of your equipment. With water being 800 times denser than air, moving through it, whether walking, swimming and yes even snorkeling requires a bit more energy. Many times snorkelers are enjoying the underwater world so much that they don't realize they are expending more energy because they are so enthralled in what they are seeing. The vest allows the snorkeler the opportunity to rest, relax and recover if they get tired. Ideally it is worn deflated but some snorkelers prefer to have a little air in it to off set any negative buoyancy. Snorkel vests from years gone by have been boring or just downright ugly.
