Exiting the Water From The Boat
When you are ready to exit the water more than likely it will be using a ladder. Do not approach the area around the ladder while someone else is exiting. If the person exiting the water should slip you do not want to be in between them and the water. When the exit area is safe to approach make firm contact with the ladder. Remove your fins and hand them up to a crew member. Most ladders on boats are not stationary. Do not wrap your arms around the ladder, hold onto the rungs or the siderail. Ascend the ladder carefully and once back on the boat proper find your fins place them back in your bag along with your mask and snorkel. Be present for the roll call and enjoy the afterglow.
