Rash Guards

The idea of rash guards originated in Australia and were originally designed to be used in the surfing world. It was found that the material protected the user against sunburn (UVA and UVB) rays as well as offering some protection from jelly fish stings. It is no wonder that rash guards were quickly adopted by a host of other water sport activities of which snorkeling was one. At first it was a bit odd to see people wearing rash guards when they were snorkeling. Today it is more odd to see a snorkeler without one.
