Aqua Lung Sport Kids Acara Mask

The Acara Mask by Aqua Lung Sport is a great tool to help get them started. This mask is designed for kids ages 6 through 12 and uses top quality materials in it's construction.

The mask skirt is manufactured using liquid injected silicone which offers better sealing capability because it is flexible in both colder and warmer water. Silicone hypoallergenic is a lot more comfortable than mask skirts using other materials such as PVC. The skirt has a double seal to accommodate a variety of kid size faces. The width of the mask skirt measured at the outermost part of the is 4 7/8 inches and the width measurement of the innermost portion of the seal 4 1/8 inches. The measurement from top to bottom seal (above brow to below nose) is 4 inches. The mask strap is made using the same silicone and is replaceable. The buckle system makes it easy for both little and big fingers to adjust the mask strap even on the fly. The single lens design offers an unobstructed view for your young adventurer. Tempered glass is used for the lens which is for safety reasons. While regular glass shatters in jagged pieces, tempered glass would shatter in chunks which is also why it is used for windshields on automobiles.
